I'm looking forward to the progress of this route. Just got started into Train Simulator a week ago thanks to G-Trax's Sacramento Northern route. I really like period railroading. Played MSTS around a decade ago when I was a kid, and now after a rather lenghty break from train games I'm back into this genre. :D

I have a question, though. I want to purchase the GN Cascadian route sometime soon, but I want to know if the price will stay the same once this update gets released. Steam store is very convenient for us foreigners because it adjusts the price to each market, making things more accessible to us. Shame that this great route isn't a Steam DLC, otherwise I would have purchased it already. Thirty bucks is rather pricy when converted to my country's currency. *!sad!*

Now, I don't want to sound like I'm complaining about the fact you charge for the route, quite contrary, I think you deserve it. It looks stunning, and I certainly don't regret spending full price for the Sacramento DLC. It's just that I hate living in a country with rather unstable economy. Plus Steam would never sell me the modern equivalent of this route thanks to BNSF's policies.

Keep up the good work! !!*ok*!!

Hi Nicolás, thanks for the kind words. The route's expansion will be a free update and won't affect the price of the original release. Both existing and future customers will have access to the same content, for the same price.

Cheers!

Thanks for your reply. I will buy the route eventually, but now I know that I shouldn't rush myself into it. I have other priorities right now.

I'm not an expert in TS yet, but I can already tell the quality of G-Trax's productions when compared to other developers, or even DTG's own works. Will keep an eye on G-Trax's proyects from now on. :D

So I was looking into the Everett area and familiarizing myself with the GN-NP-MILW operations and stumbled on to a series of presentations by Kent Sullivan on YouTube. The videos are numbered 01-10 and are very enlightening for those not familiar with the area (...like me). Here’s a link to the first video. You can access the rest in the series through Kent’s “Northern Pacific at Everett - A look back to the mid-1950’s” at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... QkhAmsiem3.
