is there a way to add my custom consist to the consist list (and remove if needed) so i can reuse it, both in same scenario, and also in other scenarios?

You can save a consist for future scenarios.

While in the editor, click the consist button and grey cubes appear above the train on each car. When you click the grey cube a window pops up on the right for you to give the consist a name. This is all in the timetable view manual.

very much appreciative of you taking time to respond to my questions... i am an amateur and i try to build a scenario for the workshop... i have played some created by a few authors who did a really good job considering how difficult and tedious to build such are...
anyway here i am not clear as to your instructions at all, and it does not work at all... yes i am aware a consist can be named in the timetable editor, and is that related to the consist list in the scenario object selector? that seems to me two different things...
i own a competitive product whereas i can build a consist on a segment of track anywhere then save it to a consist list (with name) and then i can reuse as needed... in any scenario or route editing...

I suggest you go over to the NERW site and watch all the scenario creation tutorials Bob has done. They are very well done and helped me a lot when I was learning to create scenarios. In one of them he shows you how to save a consist. Here's the link :

ok I have watched these tutorials and yes indeed these are very good... thank you... thru personal reading and trial and error I knew 98% of the material but yes it did answer the main few questions I still had... the biggie which everyone should be aware of, save, then totally exit and restart... ah that explains a lot....
