Discussion about RailWorks scenario creation.

Trimming

Unread postby BlueLight » Thu Jul 04, 2013 9:05 am

I would like to create a scenario wherein twin SW-1500's are trimming manifest consists out of a classification bowl.
I want to make this as prototypical as possible so my question is, how many cars can typically be pushed or pulled
by twin SW-1500's when trimming.

On flat terrain they can probably push 80-100 cars slowly.

I thought so. As a child I grew up along the IHB in La Grange, Illinois and I remember SW-1500's pulling relatively long trains.
Thanks Harry. *!!thnx!!*

I sure would be neat to have SW-1500 "Cow and Calf" lash up to work the Yards.

You mean like this?

Cow-and-Calf.jpg

This is from Britkits, part of their payware SW1200 set. Technically I believe it's a TR5/SW9.
