New scenario available (finally!!!)

Unread postby OldProf » Wed Mar 27, 2013 5:06 pm

Today, I posted a new scenario to Steam Workshop. Called "Pasing the Time of Day", it takes place in the Pasing Yards of the Munich - Augsburg route. Because I got tired of being limited to that route's rolling stock (and of having to renumber wagons to avoid duplicates), I also threw in wagons from the Cologne to Dusseldorf route and somehow the ICE3 trains I used wound up coming from a separate DLC rather than being those included with Munich - Augsburg. However, I figured that DB fans would have all of these packages anyway.

I'd appreciate comments and criticisms, which can be posted directly at Steam Workshop.

Thanks!

Hi Tom,

Using the ICE3 in a scenario can cause issues, as there are 2 versions of it. One that comes with the M-A route and one that can be bought separately. If you have the one from the route, people who bought ICE3 separately (and later the route) might not be able to run the scenario. And also they other way around. For most people this will not cause issues, but for some who bought everything it might.

As far as I know, Munich - Augsburg was the first route to come with "built-in" consists, including single and double ICE trains. Those are the consists I used, presuming that since they were packaged with the route they used the ICE equipment packaged with the route.

The fabulous new Scottish route also includes built-in consists, a welcome feature as far as this scenario writer is concerned.
