Creating a Part Two Scenario?

Is there a simple way to create a Part Two (Chapter 2...3, etc) to a scenario. That is, a second part to a scenario from where the first scenario left off. Can this be done without re-seting cars, motive power and idle cars on sidings. In other words everything remains the same and in the same position as when the first scenario left off.
I would hate to replace all things in the new scenario from the old.
My thanks for any help.

Clone the scenario, rename it to part 2. Edit it and remove the player train and AI. Start again. Change the time to be at the end of the 1st scenario or whatever your plan is. All your static consists will be where you had them. If you want the same engine, just delete it's commands.

Thank you. I have thought of that, but the key here is to leave everything (player train) exactly where it was when the first scenario ends. Is there a quick way to accomplish this without having to move the player consist and motive power to the scenario ending location 20 miles away from where they started in the first scenario?
Again, thanks for your help.

Is there a way to make a second switching scenario with the cars left in place from the end of the first without placing them again. Just moving the loco back to the original position with a new time.
A scenario that follows up with picking up the "loaded" cars at the first scenarios locations.
Thanks
Harold

It is not possible. You can get close by having the player, at the end of the first scenario, put the train in the precise location you want it to be at the start of the second.
You can achieve this by having him stop the train on a very short destination marker.
