AI dropping off cars

I have looked high and low but I do not see any mention of how to get the AI train to drop off cars?
I see many good tutorials about setting up Player Trains and picking up and dropping off cars but not so much about the AI trains doing this?
I would SURE appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction.
I have "Googled" my fingers sore looking and looking and looking.
Thanks so much!
Greg

It's the "drop off" timetable command. Needs a destination marker and a list of car numbers to detach.

Getting there, I think.
Sorry to be such a slow learner.
I have the Drop Off Selection completed with the car number I want to be dropped off and the destination selected.
Is there something I need to do with the Stop Marker and if so, what is that?
They AI leaves with the car attached that I want dropped off and goes to the correct destination.
It gets to the destination and then stops and parks.
Thanks it.
I must be leaving out a step or two or three.
Sorry.

No sorry at all, to be or not to be slow is less important than to be an interested and dedicated learner. *!!wink!!* The learning curve is long and full of details, it takes time to handle...

Are you saying the drop off operation was completed successfully but then the dropped cars were coupled (back) to the rest of consist? If that's the case you probably are at a grade track, the decoupled cars roll till couple again before the AI departs.

My AI drives, to the correct location, and then just stops.
It just parks with the car it brought there and nothing else happens.
I can get it to drive there but it won't uncouple and leave the car.

There are tons of reasons for not working: improper siding type, short siding marker, undue stoppoint marker, incorrect drop off instruction, a minimum waiting time between the stop instruction and drop off instruction, cars with same number in the consist, just to mention some of them. Chatting with such few details is for no avail... could you attach here (or on a PM) the scenario file? So I could look into it and be more helpfull *!!wink!!*

I can now get it to drive to the destination siding.
Stop and park.
Leave again with car and go to the next destination.
What step makes it uncouple the car?
I have the Drop Off selected with the car number entered on the line.
I don't see a button to select for drop off rear or front.
Must be what I am missing.

S.U.C.C.E.S.S.
Finally!
Not exactly sure what I did but I wrote it all down and took screenshots!
Yay!
Thanks for the help and suggestions everyone.
That was a long and slow learning curve.
Take care of each other.
