Scenario waypoints RW2012

Unread postby glenn68 » Wed Dec 21, 2011 4:56 pm

Good Afternoon,
I have a question, How do I select a waypoint in Railworks 2012 scenario editor?
Let me also ask this, in a route that does not have established waypoints, can a way point be inserted in the scenario editor?

Thanks,
Glenn

Glen,

This may not be what you want to hear, but check the user manuals!!! As a long-time student and former college professor, I know that what you learn on your own is more valuable than what you learn from others. Look at the Creators manual and the Timetable Editor manual.

In the scenario edit mode, you can place a marker that is specific to that scenario only; and then use that marker as a way-point. The markers are located under the signal icon in the left hand fly-out.

Right now I am using destination markers as waypoints but I am running a freight train and at the end of the scenario I show that I did not stop at these locations, but completed the scenario successfuly.
