career question

How can I take a standard scenario and make a copy then make it into a career version and not have it locked?

You can't. RSC has the career scenario stuff in lockdown. Only they can create a career scenario. You or anyone else cannot edit or touch them, you could get a Valve ban if you try. Meaning Steam could lock you out of your game.

After discovering that I have no career in RW scenarios, I cloned them and changed their designation from "career" to "standard" so I could run them without being nagged about my driving. Once converted to standard, ex-career scenarios can be modified to one's heart's content. I doubt that conversion in the other direction would work and have no particular desire to find out. This is RS's private playground and they don't allow anyone else to handle the ball.

the career scenarios are just the basic scenarios for the core routes anyway without the scoring. I dont understand why you had to clone them at all since they are already there in the core scenarios !!**sorry**!!
My scenarios are short, but they leave plenty of room for scope. Time to stretch to other routes I think
