Columbia Valley Pacific Railroad
02-Makeup Odessa Turn
June 8, 1949

Engine #802 - Columbia Switcher
Call Time: 8:00 AM
Conductor - R. Peacock
Engineer - M. Morrow

The Odessa Turn is a daily freight train working between Columbia and Odessa. It usually leaves Columbia after Train #1, The Okanagan, arrives. All the necessary cars are currently sitting on Yard Track 2, but they're not in the correct order. Build (Marshall) your train on the CO Arrival/Departure track. The road crew will appreciate you lining them up.

Run the RW_AssetSetup.exe file to install the scenario. A list of required rolling stock is included as well as a copy of the Work Order. As always, you may substitute your own rolling stock using utilities such as RW-Tools. I’ve also included a copy of my map files to help you find your way. Remember that this Marshall instruction requires that the cars be sorted in the specified order.

The Columbia Valley Pacific is one of my favorite routes. It “feels” like a real railroad and the scenery is beautiful. There is a good variety of industries to keep operators busy. I’ve chosen 1949 as my era so I can run steam power. The Great Northern and Canadian Pacific railroads have made the move to diesels for passenger power.

This package is released as freeware. You can do whatever you wish with it EXCEPT make money with its use.

I have run into a couple of set backs with this scenario that I'm trying to repair. The main issue is the "Marshall" function. No matter how I setup this action, I can't get it to show as completed. There was also a leaving path issue but that is resolved. I've sent a message to RBJets over on the TSC Workshop. He uses the marshall function all the time and everything seems to work just fine.

I might just leave the scenario as it is and put a note in to just follow the instructions.

Okay, I think this scenario is repaired. The key (I think) is that the marshalled consist extended beyond the track name. Both ends of CO Arrival/Departure are labeled (E & W). If you still have issues, just run the scenario and complete the tasks.
