Trying to create a scenario

Ok so I'm not sure what I'm trying to accomplish yet, but I decided to throw together some Conrail and PC stock on the industrial interactive and perhaps do a free roam, maybe turn it into a scenario with goals later on, but I think first I need to get some basics down. I figured how to add content but I cant seem to add loads to cars that I added. For example I have a long train on a siding that I want to break down and disperse to different sidings and industries, however all the cars are empty, like TOFC with no trailers, empty gons, the boxes I assume are empty. My only scenario experience was in trainz, where I think you could just right click and handle loads from a sub menu. Also if I want to load empties from industries and build an outbound train, do I have to configure the actual industries for that? Any help is greatly appreciated and maybe if this pans out to be somewhat decent I'll post it up for testing. Again thanks in advance.

for a group of rail cars hold the shift key and click or double click on the group .there will be a box on the top right that will apper, just click on the load box.same for single cars.

Alright, figured it out as well as industries. I think I'll stick with free roams for the time being and ease my way into actual scenarios, theres a lot to learn here.

Ok another issue. When I load up this free roam, i always start off at a location that is not near the engine I wish to use. I read that theres an option when you double click on the driver icon to designate it the player train but its grayed out, which im assuming is a free roam thing, and thats fine. Is there any way to get the scenario to start off next to the turntable? Its a small inconvenience to have to "fly" over to it every time I start up the scenario. Thanks in advance.

Move the scenario marker to where you want to start.

Ok what would the scenario marker look like? The only thing I see is a stack of icons with what looks like a subway coming head on.

Yeah, it's one of those, square thing with the front of a train. You see all the scenario markers for the route in any scenario, which can get a bit confusing.

Ok is there any order to the stack of icons? Like would the one I'm currently working on be at the top or bottom?

Ok got it. That is really confusing especially since you can't see what scenario the marker is for unless you click it and enter that scenario. At least I don't know of a way. Anyhow I managed to get it working and can now enjoy my fledgling effort.

Press F6 to turn on the balloon messages. Each scenario marker will display it's title.
