Need Help with My First Scenario

I'm working on a steam passenger scenario for the Columbia Valley Pacific. It starts at Adams Bay Station and runs to Panaska Station making stops along the way. My problem is that I initially setup the scenario to begin at 8:00 a.m. However, when I added the first station stop in the Timetable Editor, it skipped from 8am to 10am. I would appreciate your help in getting the scenario to run as I planned it. A copy of the scenario draft is attached.

Thanks in advance,
Harry

Hi Harry,
unfortunately I don´t have the route so I couldn´t test your specific scenrario. Perhaps you could check the pop up-menue of the first stopin the time table editor: in line 5 there is a clock icon on the left side. Is the box beneath ticked and have you entered times in the lines above? If yes try to untick the box. The times are calculated automatically then.
Greetings

Peter

Make sure the scenario start time and the player train start time are set to the same time as well as any ai that could be holding the player train somewhere Set train priorities correctly as well

I've added a couple of minor changes to my scenario. I don't suppose there is any way to "fast forward" through the scenario to the place I want to test? When I saved the changes, the program deleted my previous saved file.

If you're looking to test the functionality of the AI trains, and their interaction with the player train, you can use the play/fast forward buttons in the scenario editor. The trains (including the player train) *should* move exactly to their timetable laid out in the editor. The player train will move per its schedule also, even if those times are not actually attainable with the player operating the train.

I find this tool useful for testing/troubleshooting meets with AI trains on single track main routes.

It is important to note that you really shouldn't use the save function once you have started running the scenario, or fast forwarding it, as it will save your scenario to start at that time. Use the 'small play' button to start and then use the "x2, x4, x8, etc" buttons to speed up the passing of scenario time. Once you are done your preview/test, use the " |<< " button to the left of the small play button, to reset your scenario to its start time.
