San Bernardino accident scenario pack

I’ve been working on a scenario to recreate the events prior to the accident. My intention is using the NTSB accident report on wikisource website to provide a “documentary” type recreation of events, if I may say so.

Without the accident in game, of course. Player will safely arrive to West Colton as originally planned. Narative is just information popups about what happened that day, while player visits the said locations. Also, no names mentioned or no one blamed. All narative is from Wikisource directly.

I think the end result is... well, interesting. Replicating the events in game also was quite challenging because of the wonky physics engine. And lack of rolling stock (or my knowledge of) made me decide to make some changes about them while creating the scenario.

I never uploaded to RWA before, and don’t know if I need permission before uploading a scenario like this. Please let me know below.

The route:
Cajon Pass Alpha by Tomcat

Rolling stock needed:
- Donner Pass (and those archaic sp sd40s)
- SP SD45-2 ( DTM - Steam )
- SP SD45T-2 ( DTM - Steam )
- ATSF SD45-2 ( DTM - Steam )

- SD45-SPSF Livery Pack
http://www.railworks.marleyman.co.uk/st ... cts_id=122

- SD75 pack01 - DTG

- Union Pacific GP30 Loco Add-On
Southern Pacific/Cotton Belt GP30 Livery Add-On

- Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe SD40-2 (only the snoot version)
http://railworks.banal.net/downloads/downloads.html

- ATSF GP30 pack
http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/d ... e-repaints

Railworks America - Gunderson packs (I think all of them, but surely sealand version)

Searchligh Simulation - Open Hoppers

Compromises:

- 3rd scenario is a freeroam, because in-game dispatcher is driving me crazy and was not possible to recreate stock movements in a standard scenario.

- 2nd and 3rd scenario uses SD45-2s instead of SD45T-2, because when that unit is leading, somehow I was not able to release the brakes or reapply them. Some script error, but maybe only in mu computer. Maybe someone kind enough to replace the unit and try and let me know?

- 3rd scenario consist has 10 empty hoppers at the end, because it is already an extremely heavy consist and it’s not possible to move the consist if I didn’t. Also to be able to move, 7551 unit is not marked as broken only for this scenario.

- I don’t have many ATSF stock, and was not able to use SD40-2 version so I only used snoot version for AI. You only need to install this version for this scenario pack.

- Using default Kuju or any DTG stock for the consist caused really weird physics reactions in game in different test runs, so at the end, I changed it with SS hoppers and now I am happy with the result. At least, now consist pushes the train when on %1 descent.

Could someone be kind enough to provide feedback on these scenarios, I’m eager to fix or make changes if you have any suggestions. I see people are rating one star, so I’m curious if I can make it better. Thanks.

There are some on here who either can't figure out how to get something to work or just don't personally care for something and act like jerks by not helping creators to make their stuff better either by PM or on the forum. They just think it's cute to trash someones work while contributing nothing. *!sad!*
