A couple of newbie questions

These are a couple of things that have been really nagging me. First, is there any way to realign switches in the scenario editor? The only way I've found so far is to take a locomotive or car and run it through the switch until it's forced in the direction that I want.

Second, when I'm setting up destination markers to guide the player along their path and the train passes over one marker, Railworks won't point toward the next marker until the very back of the train has passed over the previous marker and I like to make pretty big consists so this can be a real problem !*hp*! How can I change it so the next marker shows up as soon as the lead engine has passed the previous marker?

You cab realign the switches for sure.
Just go into the 2D map in scenario editor. Everywhere were there is a blue dot, there is a switch.
If you click it while pressing Ctrl, you can switch the switch. *!lol!*
Same is possible in driving mode.

About the marker thing: I don't know, but I'd say that it isn't possible to change that.

Does Ctrl + Left-click also work to change the manual junction points on the 2D map?
I normally use Shift + Left-click for doing that.

Automatic junctions are another story though and usually automatically determined by the path you have in place for a train.

If I understand the other question correctly, then I think you could set up a "Go via.." instruction to have the next destination display once your engine (or back of train if going back-wards) reaches that point.
To make a "Go via..." is fairly simply. You add in a "Stop" command, but normally where the part reads like 0MPh (meaning, it expects the train to come to a complete stop), put in a number greater than 0, so, like 1MPH would then turn a Stop instruction into a Go-via instruction.

Yeah, you're right. My mistake. It's Shift, not Ctrl. *!rolleyes!*

Thanks for the help guys. !*salute*!

Now hopefully I can have my first scenario ready for a little beta testing soon. Just have to get those naughty AI trains to start behaving.

So yunz know, CTRL Click is what takes you to another GPS area. CTRL Click on map and click the triangle arrow on the GPS pull down and you zoom to that spot. Works in scenario editor and route editor modes. Used to be in play mode but they took that out.
