Change driver train during scenario

Another question: i'd like to know how you change your train. i want to arrive at platform 1 and continue the scenario with the train on platform 2. I've seen it done, but what are the instructions for it?

I have seen this myself , I actually think it is something simple as a free roam scenario but making the trains do their own stuff, then it is just a case of hitting the 8 key and awaiting the other service to appear , but remembering to set the instructions the same as you would for a timetabled scenario and not selecting a service as the player consist

Ps I am going to go try it out on one of the smaller routes I have installed and come back with my findings

Mark is absolutely right, but I just would like to add that it can be a standard or timetabled scenario and doesn't have to be free roam.
