Unread postby emdsd90mac » Sat Feb 19, 2011 11:38 am

Hello all. I my route that I am creating, I have placed a few too many scenario markers and now I cannot figure out how to get rid of the unwanted one. Can someone please lend me some insight on how to delete these unwanted markers?

Thank you

Two possibilities:

1) You use RW Tools to find and delete the Scenarios.

2)You klick EDITOR in the RW home screen. Then select "Scenario Editor". Here you can select the Scenario and delete it.

Wait a minute! You want to delete track markers you created for a scenario, not entire scenarios, right? To do this, open the scenario in edit mode, find the scenario-related track marker, select it by clicking it and press the Delete key. That should do it.

Sounds too simple? Well, yes, because sometimes it's difficult to select the track marker -- like almost anything, for that matter. If selection is difficult, try moving the view camera around until selection works correctly.

I have found that, sometimes, the editor has to be put in the right "frame of mind" to select an object. If I cant select, say, a track marker, I first select a new marker from the left center popout, then right click to get rid of it. Then, I can select the marker I want to delete or move. Just make sure that you didn't accidentally place the marker in question in the World Editor level. (It would then be grey instead of yellow).
