Locomotives for scenarios.

I notice on some of the diesel locomotives when adding them to a scenario some list the name of the loco like CSX 6000CW, and then below that will be CSX 6000 CW ND. Now I am assuming that the ND means not drivable while the player loco, obviously would have to be a drivable version. Now my question is, what is the advantage of using the ND version as the second loco, behind the drivable version, or doesn't it really make any difference? Or does the ND mean that it can only be used for a static display in a scenario?

ND means no driver. You can use them for static locos or trailing units. The cab will be empty that's all.

You can also see an NC version which is the same but means No Crew.
