Problem coupling to train

Unread postby mikeg1250 » Thu Nov 18, 2010 1:49 pm

I have created a scenario that requires the user to take the steam locomotive from the service track to the yard to couple to the train. However, when I get to the train and try to couple I can't! No matter how hard I bang into the cars it will not couple. But here's the kicker: if I save the scenario, exit, then return I can couple to the cars just like normal **!!bang!!** !!!! But when I do get coupled up, the scenario does not count the task as completed !*hp*! ! Anyone one have any suggestions???

Maybe it's the order of cars you've given in the scenario editor. That means there stands you should couple a certain car to the front of your loco but it's on the other side of the consist.
Or you entered the wron info: couple to front/back of loco?

I'll have to double check that but I think I'm good there.

Okay I figured out part of the problem. Seems that since the siding makers for Connellsville yard (and looks like every whereelse on the P&LE) are quite small and my consist was larger than the marker it would not recognize the pickup. I fixed it bye adding a scenario market that runs the while length of the track. We're railroading now!
