How do I place a Destination Marker?

I guess I should elaborate.
During scenario building I want to include the "pointing finger?" instruction and need as a destination something other than a siding.
I've seen the orange cubes on a post and identified these as destination markers, but how do I place and name one?
I'm using an established route to create the scenario in.
