Edit a saved freeroam

Unread postby reeveshd » Sat May 05, 2012 7:59 pm

Hello all:

Is there a way that you can open a freeroam from the last point you saved it and edit it? What I am getting at here is.... I like to download and install new downloads, but I really just like free roams where I can do what I want when I want. Then comes the problem, I find something new that i want to add, and then I have to start over from scratch moving all my rolling stock around.

it takes me hours to get a freeroam loaded up with all the rolling stock that I like, then I move it around playing it for a ten twelve hours, then download something else, then add it. Starting all over again.

So what I would like to take the point of my last f2 save, and make that the basis for starting a new freeroam.

Does that make sense

Thanks
Reeves

Ummm, usually just click "Resume" RW only has one save slot, so the last save is where you will start from. *!!wink!!*

Hi Reeves,

You can (swap and) move rolling stock (supposedly you are talking about loose consists other than you Player consist) using RW_Tools and placing them on new route's markers.

Other you can try (if you have set AI trains moving also) is clone the scenario, open the clone to edit, use the speed up feature (in the bottom of screen) until the point you want to be a new start point, pause the feature (just pause it) and save. See what happens!

There is a tool management of saved sessions, may it helps: Railworks Scenario Manager.
