setting switches in scenario editor

Good Morning,
I have a question;
How do you set the rail line switches in the scenario editor? I was making up a simple free roam scenario and wanted to set some switches for my path.

Press 9 to get the 2D map. Switches that can be changed have a blue dot, shift click the blue dot to throw switch. You will see the dark piece of the switch move, the path is in the direction of the dark piece. These postitions will save with the scenario.
