using wye

Unread postby raptorengineer » Thu Feb 04, 2016 2:46 pm

hi
i made passenger pick up scenario using a Wye. so i would pick up passengers at A Point then go to B. Point and uncouple cars at station. then use Wye to turn the engine around and pick up cars and passengers at same station to go to Point c. but i guess you can't pick up cars at the same siding or station that you drop off or can you?

Put simply, I think you can't pick up cars that weren't there at the beginning of the scenario. At least that's how it works with AI trains.
The easy workaround is to split the scenario at that point.
Tom Pallen could probably give a more authoritative answer.

1) Pickup passengers at point A.
2) Pickup passengers at point B.
3) Setout cars at point B.
4) Turn engine around at wye.
5) Pickup cars at point B.
6) Continue to point C.

It will work.
