Editting a workshop scenario

I try and the edit button is greyed out. We cant edit them?? Wanted to check out how some things were done in one I liked and cant even look see. Any work around or is this a no no?

use rwtools to convert it to a standard scenario first

Make sure the route isn't locked, which is in the bottom right part of the editing screen.

Bob - the best way to investigate a W/S scenario is to clone it in the editor, then you can look around all you want on the copy. I do it all the time to find out how others do things differently than I do.

Open the ScenarioProperties.xml. Do you know where that is? Use RWTools to find the number of it.
Open it with wordpad and scroll down to the bottom and look for these two lines.
<WorkshopId d:type="sUInt64">0</WorkshopId>
<WorkshopBy d:type="sUInt64">0</WorkshopBy>

There is a long number instead of the >0< change it to 0. Save it. Now you can edit it with RWTools.
