After being in Train Simulator for 4 years and still I don´t know how to do this:
How do I take screenshots, so they get saved with the route name and coordinates?

Press CTRL+S
But if you use tools like reshade these effects are not applied to the screenshot.

Alternately bring up the F3 or F4 HUD and click on the little camera icon in the bottom right. The HUD will not show up in the image.

I have been using F12 as well as Ctrl-S along the time. The difference in my side is taking the shot with (F12) or without the HUD image (Ctrl-S).

Buzz: About your solution, it doesn´t work either with F3 or F4 HUD (plus the picture button).
I just took a shot this way and got the file name: 20180520113717_1.jpg (a name based in a number with no Route name and coordinates):



There must be something in the settings I miss and that you have in some way.

Mine looks like this. I'll explore this and report back. Mine are stored in the pictures folder on my C drive by the way.

It is exactly what I want!

I have done multiple searches here in RWA, in Steam and Google and found nothing. It looks like a natural way of taking pics for anyone else.

My screenshots are stored in Steam folders
S:\Steam\userdata\33987305\760\remote\24010\screenshots
I will try My Pictures just in case.
