Not sure if this is an improvement

Unread postby SAR704 » Tue Feb 06, 2018 7:10 am

I am currently placing some asset blocks in my route, and I've noticed that each time I move the blue icon to another place and hit F2, it says 'there are no changes to save'.

It's annoying having to delete a tree, and then undo it just to get it to recognise a change to the route. I can't quite recall if TS2017 was like this, but is this a recent change/upgrade to the game?

Personally, I find it annoying.

Are we talking irregular asset blocks and the blue pins you place that define the extent and the shape of the block?

If so, then this is not a new problem with TS2018, at least not for me; I've had this problem since the introduction of irregular asset blocks . When I initially place an irregular asset block it always saves correctly, but if I decide to adjust a pin or three after having already saved it then, in my experience, it will think there is nothing new to save. The only thing that works for me is to adjust the blue pins before saving. If, for some reason, I need to go back to adjust the pins on an irregular asset block that was laid down before my last save then I delete the block and start over.

Yes correct. I thought DTG might have addressed this by now, but I suspect that the only changes to the base game we'll be seeing in the future will be the change of year in the title and a new home screen. Might as well just call it TS2016, as hardly anything has changed.

I have laid down literately thousands of irregular asset blocks and never noticed that so it can't be too much of a problem. Also you have come to a conclusion without much basis as far as no changes or improvements in the current TSxxxx.
