Animated Coal Loads

Unread postby TheKman » Fri Jan 24, 2025 12:55 pm

I'm new to making animated loads. I messed with a coal load around a year ago and hit a brick wall getting the load to work correctyl in my 3D modeling program to make the shape file for the car. I put it aside and now trying again.

I figured that out, though I'm not sure if I did it right. Works like I want, was able to export as a .ia.

I think I did things right in the blueprint, (xml file enclosed) but really not sure.......

If I just can't swing this, is it possiple to use the componets of a car with a coal load and copy/paste the bin info from that car and overwrite my bin file?

Thanks

Got it work. I had no data entered for Anim Set in the blueprint at all. Added the data for the auto animation. Needs adjusting, I made the .ia for the coal come up way too high. Easy to fix. Now I need to figure out what my auto numbering issue is...... Entry in 3DC looks correct. 1_0128_primarydigits_5 The TGA files look correct The primary decal numbers are worded correctly. Decal numbers are decal_primarynumber_0 thru decal_primarynumber_4. The TGAs are number_0, thru number_9 So that's right. Might have to redo everything for the numbers. In a scenario, no number shows up on the car, but the are car numbers shown when you couple/uncouple cars.
