They already have NJT and MNCR licensing so there really is no good excuse to not include them.

Interesting, because this means for the moment that passenger operations have the upper hand in DTG's planning.

At 40% off, will there ever be any return of investment? Or are these introductory offers just the teasers to get as much folks aboard the franchise in the hope they will stick around long enough??

So this route will have mixed Amtrak (long distance) passenger service and CSX garbage trains service for starters.
What kind of Services can be made with this content? Switching industries or this garbage train service? Love the DTGX reporting marks *!lol!*

Any commuter trains will come as future DLC probably. Must keep track of those Skyhook guys, who built the TSW rolling stock so far.

I didn't read anywhere on Steam what two points or where this goes other than "Northeast Corridor New York" so is it just the NEC in New York? Models look beautiful but what do you get to do?

Given that DTG so far has tried to implement real timetables and schedules in their Services mode, one should take a look at the Amtrak NEC timetable and the CSX garbage trains for an indication.
It won't be as busy as GWR or TS with their fixed pattern schedules I suppose.

Perhaps more information will leak out before the introductory price ends, otherwise you have to take the gamble and get the DLC refunded when unsatisfactory.

It looks pretty but so far it's not providing the content I'm interested in and able to find in TS18.

In a response to a query on Facebook - Newark to New Rochelle - about 20 miles as the crow flies.
Download the PRB from page 51 of the Powder River Basin thread.

According to the path I've made with Google Earth, it is approximately 38 miles long.

Thanks for the insight. I still think I'm going to hold off. I have more in TS2018 right now. Plus a much larger route to run on. Still it looks really good graphically.

In viewing map above, it looks as if Dovetail has set themselves up to expand in the Northeast, however they want to. And have it all connected. Some examples: New York to Washington, DC, Metro North, Long Island RR. Those are just a few of the possibilities. I guess, we'll just have to wait, and see, how it plays out.

One of the German Railsimmers has done a sort of map artefact for this route copied onto a New York street map, for those who may be interested -

The release is delayed until Tuesday March 20 because of "some minor issues". *!rolleyes!*
