Here's a good map of the area. It seems that there was a great article about the MET in an issue of Trains magazine. I will look for it if you like.

Trevor Marshall wrote two excellent articles on the MET in the October and November 2007 issues of Railroad Model Craftsman. There are a number of photos with those articles of some of the areas you mention.

I will try to find copies of these articles.

How about reprints of sw1500s and or 44 tonners? Not the same I know, but the 44s should have the right feel.

If you did your research correctly, you would know that the locomotives MET had were 70 tonners and not 90 tonners!

Good thing to as a 70 Tonner is more likely to show up in RW sometime due to its popularity rather than the latter. (well actually it would either have to be an 80t or a 95t loco as there wasn't a 90t loco)

I'm a long ways off from modeling a 70 tonner, but they are on my list of locomotives in the works. First order of the day will be a GE 45/50 tonner.

"jpetersjr" would be your go-to guy for buildings. I'll see if I can find one of this posts, he's got a link to his website. Lots of his stuff in the file library here, too.

Great train watching spot. I've been a few times. Lot's of action at the Yosemite Wye (local/BNSF) that's my favorite place to watch. Just an idea for your warehouse's. Don't forget you take any of the warehouse assets and doublestack them to make large warehouse's or take several small warehouse asset's place them side by side to make long warehouse's.-----Justin

Why don't you send John a PM, see if he's interested in making some custom buildings for your route?

Interesting building, I might consider making it if you're still working on the route, or at least a building very much like that, sometimes the textures can become a problem.

City buildings are right down my alley, other than classic style auto's(vehicles).
