Standard Coaling and Watering tower.

Yes please - a decent coal stage is a must. The one supplied with HSC is a joke compared to the web pics of what was actually there and even the one RSC provided for Woodend

!*cheers*!

I might see if I can make a firetruck later on, perhaps a vintage firetruck.

I think this one might be a good subject, does anyone know what year this one would have been.

Also, I was thinking of trying to do one of these as well.

Perhaps maybe a 1974 Freightliner Semi as well.

The only problem is to me I find vehicles the problem area, much better at modeling buildings then vehicles. Several times I've struct out trying to model a vehicle, ending up having to scrap the model instead because of modeling problems.

I'll start out with the 74 Freightliner Semi however because it will be the easier of the bunch to model.

As for modern, most likely not at the moment.

Log trucks, both the "short" 3-axle kind and tractor-trailer types. The skeleton trailer hasn't changed much over the years so make it a separate asset from the cab and we could mix and vary the combos using the various cabs we have already.

Small town fire station; 2 story and 2 bay doors, about big enough to hold 4 small to medium sized trucks. Many of these across small-town America were built of brick in the 60's.

Tie piles. BIG piles (4-8 carloads?) of old dilapidated, crumbling ties, usually stacked in long rows alongside the tracks waiting to be hauled away. Also new tie piles black, shiny, and dripping with creosote. Also need gondolas (half-height) loaded with either/both of these assets.

Track maintenance machinery, especially a tamper which was commonly seen working (or as dad would fuss, "tying up track", lol) somewhere every day.
