Exiting the route editor without restarting?

Unread postby hefy_jefy » Sat Apr 13, 2013 10:27 am

So I am in the route editor and I make a change that turns out not be what I needed. And for some reason CTRL +Z doesn't work. How do I get out without saving? Hitting the big yellow arrow only gives me "Cancel" or "Save Changes".
The only way I have found is to use the Windows key and exit the game altogether which takes forever. Am I missing something?

Nope, you can not just exit with out saving. We have complained about that since day 1. If I know I did something I do not want saved I hit CNTRL/ALT/DEL and shut RW down with the Task Manager. This can be dangerous (although I never had a problem yet), so I always make a backup of the route before I start editting.

If you're editing scenarios or routes, Window mode is your friend.

How do you run the sim in windows mode?

Its under settings. You'll see full screen and widowed mode. Click on windowed mode and will prompt you to restart.
