Milwaukee Road Yard Diagrams

Been trying to hunt down a good set of these for a while. I've got a set of New Haven railroad maps which are decently detailed, and I was wondering if anyone had managed to track down a set for the Milwaukee perhaps? I've gotten track charts with grades, etc. but they don't show yard layouts very clearly. This is an example of one of the NH ones that I've got:

Looking mostly for Rocky Mountain Division subdivisions 1-4, the year doesn't overly matter as long as it's before about 1969-1970. A search of most of the usual suspects like historical society pages turns up nothing, so I figured that someone on here may have some info. Thanks in advance!

Perhaps not exactly what you're looking for, but here's a link to the Cascade Rail Foundation Milwaukee Road Archive:

...and more specifically, their track diagrams (maps-blueprints):

Hope that helps; best of luck with your project. I hope you receive further input on this.

It's a start at least *!!thnx!!* . Sadly all a bit too far west for me, although the station diagram for Avery may come in handy should I decide to go that far. Great website though, lots of (albeit basic) drawings of freight cars if any of our modellers are interested.

Milwaukee road yard diagrams are hard to come by. I saw some physical copies at a swap meet some years ago, but have never seen a collection of them online.

You could try downloading one of the clearer scanned track charts and then zooming in. There are numerous MILW charts online, but some are definitely higher resolution scans than others.

Good luck! I would love to run the RMD one day in this sim

Ah, that's a shame. Being from New England, that sort of thing doesn't usually make it up here too often. It's not massively urgent as it'll be a while before I actually start doing anything with the RMD, because I'm in the midst of another route project at the moment; never hurts to get the reference together before starting, though *!!wink!!*. Hopefully next year's train show at Amherst turns something up, or failing that I suppose I could ask the creator of the fantastic MSTS/OR version what they did.
