Train Simulator Signals making from scratch

Hello ALL,

I am bit new in the field of signalling.I am making a custom route and want to make corresponding signals for the route from scratch.I am stuck with this since a long time.

I have made models but not sure how to make it game ready.Is there any source file available for atleast a very baic signal.I have made the model of the signal i want but i am confused with the naming and head and post related stuff..Please help me...it will be highly appreciated.

There doesn't seem to be any info in the link on how to script them though. Would I be correct in assuming it's self taught?

You could use the Kuju Lua scripts as references. They are not compiled.
