Hi all, since today I have been unable to edit my route. i get the following crash:


I have tried everything I can think of short of uninstalling and re-installing steam, Googling isn't helping.

Can anyone help?

Is this happening when you load the route or when you go to world editor?

you probably tried a system reboot as well as the usual clear cache. I had this happen when I swapped out and old DTG/KUJU loco for a JR/SS enhanced one. I had to delete the loco to get it to quit crashing. That was the only change. That loco works well in other places.Using 64 bit.

The last time I had a issue like that it turned out to be the scenario was the problem that's why I asked the question the way I did.

To answer your previous question, it's both. And in 32-Bit and 64-Bit. I deleted the scenario in the route, don't know if it helped. I'll have to test it.

Let us know. Report back and if that doesn't fix it let's see what to try next.

*wipes brow* so after a couple of hours of figuring out what file was causing the issues, I was able to piece together a working and back to where I was route file. Had to use 2 recent backup files and find what files changed. But it's working and I can get back to my regularly scheduled route building.

Time for round 2.

Made a backup that seemed to work, now it's the same issue all over. And I replaced the files and everything with the backup files still it doesn't like it and errors out.

BTW, is there anyway to prevent your track from changing if you slightly adjust one point and then like 20 miles of track changes in elevation?
