BNSF Seligman Subdivision Take 3

Over the last few months, I've been working on my own BNSF Seligman Subdivision. I frequently railfan the line from Winslow to Williams, and it pains me that nobody has released it for TS. I myself have tried to build the route twice before over the years, but this is the most accurate version I've made (third time's the charm! :D )

So far, I have tracks and signals down between East Winslow and downtown Flagstaff, along with a bit of scenery already placed. My goal is to build the route all the way to Seligman, Arizona (the halfway point of the sub), as well as add the BNSF Phoenix sub to Ash Fork, AZ. The entire Grand Canyon Railway line from Williams, AZ to the Grand Canyon is being considered, but not confirmed to be a part of the route at this time (if anyone accurate speed charts for the GCRY, that would be appreciated! *!greengrin!* ).

Adding scenery to the route should be fairly easy, as most of it is located in the middle of nowhere almost. The only challenging places to detail will be Winslow and Flagstaff, mostly due to the lack of accurate assets (a good example is the Flagstaff Amtrak station). Regardless, I have an ambition to complete this route, and will hopefully have a public beta released in the coming months!

The bridge at Diablo Canyon looks perfect and I also really like the Santa Fe writing on the other bridge. !!*ok*!! Live in the area and am really looking forward to this route.

Sadly, now that the Google Maps overlay is practically pay-to-use (combined with the fact that I have to mostly focus on schoolwork), there's not much else I can do on this route. If anyone still wants it or has an interest to continue the build, I can release what I have.

I have been using Google Earth Pro for just a few days now that I have confirmed they have discontinued Google Earth 6.30.

If you search "Can you be charged for using google earth pro" there are multiple links that affirm it is a free service. Plus the official information summary window that appears in Bing browser does list "Product info: Free ยท Google" and "License: Freeware"

It is my understanding that if you use the cloud to store files you will be charged. I tried to read up on possible charges but it is worded in such a way that I just give up trying to understand their mumbo-jumbo.

So as aforementioned the license says freeware so I take it as free.

Google earth pro is free, but google changed it to where you have to buy an API key and deactivated all existing ones.

Nate, Your statement is a little contradictory. You say it's free but in the same sentence you say you have to buy a API key. Break that down for us please.

The software is free, but the key to use it in other programs is not.

Great work! This gives me great memories of toying around on the Steamlines Seligman Subs.

Hmmm..I have the new API key and I use it daily. I haven't paid anything and have been using it for a few months now. I'm working on two different routes and actually three different versions of one of those.
