So I've been trying to create some custom signals using the Pacific Surfliner assets but I'm not well versed in scripting. Does anyone know of some good resources on coding for Train Simulator? I haven't been able to find anything as of yet.
Thanks!

Aren't the old Kuju BNSF signal scripts still in cleartext .lua? Or the scripts from the old SMMDigital signals included in the RWA/RCAP collection? I remember seeing a signal collection with scripts for many rulebooks, i.e. AAR, NOCAR, east coast, west coast etc. all in annotated cleartext lua.

Train Simulator 2012 had all human readable LUA files for signalling UK & USA based.
I suppose in after ward editions, they were compiled.
RCAPv2 also have USA signals.

From the RSC Developer Docs, available here at http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/download-library/accessories?view=document&id=1081:rsc-s-developer-docs&catid=24:accessories, there are a couple of useful files.

"3.01 Signal Setup & Scripting" gives an extensive analysis of the scripting for a range of increasingly complex signals. "3.02 Signaling Interface Parameters" describes the system functions referred to in the first manual.

If you're looking for information on the Lua language itself https://www.lua.org/ might be a good place to start.
