Route Signals

Unread postby xxuntitledxx » Mon Aug 28, 2017 6:36 pm

Hello All,

Looking for some advice...

So I am slowly working on updating all of the signalling on my route as it changes (NS is changing a lot of signalling on the Lehigh Line) and I was wondering what US routes would be able to support the most type of SafeTrans style (a.k.a. Vader) signals. I'm trying to keep my route in Workshop Compliance so routes available there are preferred. I would need signal mixes such as 3 over 2, 1 over 1 over 3, 1 over 3, 3 over 3 over 3, etc.

I don't like to really mix and match signals from different routes if I don't have to. I already am using NJCL Type G signals for the Type G signals along the route.

Anyone have any ideas?

The ones I found that look like the "vader" signals are called "NORAC Tall." Unfortunately I don't remember where I got these. Hopefully they're in the RCAP package but I don't remember...I acquired them years ago. Anyway they have pretty much any combination you need, the only thing is I've never figured out how to get the permissive signals to display the correct mile marker, they always just say 324. Good luck Ken.
