I do not want to sound mean or sound like i am telling you what to do. All i am simply stating is that route designers should refrain from using portland terminal assets, this is because many don't own the route and cannot get it. Instead i suggest using stevens pass assets, most of the same assets are available from this route. Yes i think route made with portland terminal are awesome. But a whats the point of making them and then sharing them if not many can download it. I really wish they would make portland available again. I really hope other developers understand and try to restrain from using portland terminal assets, i know i have done a good job of keeping them out of my routes.

Some of these routes, such as my own, were made and released when Portland Terminal was still available. Portland Terminal was available for many years, and was rather cheap, so it's hard to blame route builders for using it. The assets in PT are very New England-centric, which makes it difficult to not use Portland Terminal when making a New England-based route. This is the trouble with using payware assets in a freeware route; unfortunately, someone will always get left out. That being said, it's unfortunate that the route is no longer available and hopefully it will be soon so that the maximum number of people can enjoy.

I can, however, understand why someone might still use Portland Terminal assets in a custom made route. If the route builder already owns Portland Terminal and not Stevens Pass, as in my own case for example, they may be hesitant to spend money on Stevens Pass (which is still fairly pricy) so that a few more people can use the route. Just my **!!2cents!!**

I don't always download 3rd party routes, but when I do I prefer those that use Portland Terminal assets.

Stevens Pass is spendy but you qet a lot for your money. I love using the bridge assets from this route and the trees are amazing (by ts2014 standards).
