I would recommend the Railworks community assets project (or RCAP for short) it has a ton of amazing scenery pieces: houses, stores, billboards, and just about everything. (Assuming you don't have this)

Hey,

I'm currently working on the Lehigh Line! :D So at least someone is continuing where I leave off. (My line continues just past BURN by a couple miles) I'm using assets from the Jersey Coast line, Horseshoe Curve, Stevens Pass, and a few others. Check out my line in the forum: Central Jersey lines (The Lehigh Line Project). Hopefully we can do scenarios on adjoining routes. And I'm always here for what advice I can give.

RCAP is a excellent source of American assets as well as I pointed out elsewhere that everything used on the Lafayette route is all freeware and is a trove of stuff. As far as freeways have you looked at the ScaleRail stuff from https://www.3dtrains.com/. His roads bridges and track are all great stuff.

If you guys have any thought on merging your routes, for sure both routes have to have the same Lat/Long coordinates. Otherwise when merged, objects won't be placed correctly.

I'm using a bunch of assets from different routes:

Track:
North Jersey Coast Line (with custom trackproperties.xml file for super elevation)

Scenery:
North Jersey Coast Line scenery/pretty much most of the route
Penn Coal for some assets
Stevens Pass for,defect detectors, track detection, houses, airport items, etc.
Sherman Hill for signals , houses, etc.
Miami route for signals/airports/ anything else
Munich - Augsburg for scenery
Plus a few other DTG routes I can't remember at the moment.

Trying to keep things in compliance with the Workshop rules since I plan to release my route on it.
I'll try to get you some of my screenshots from the Bethlehem/Allentown area since we kind of overlap there.

As far as combining routes go my starting location is in NJ, so my route tiles don't match up. Minerman146's route starts in a different locale in NJ or NY so the 3 routes although linear, wouldn't really match up if we were to combine them.

But that being said... if we do anything to "combine" the routes it would have to be through scenarios. But in time... I still have A LOT of scenery work to do.

As always if you run into any snags or have any specific route questions message me. I'm pretty much always out on the Lehigh/Reading Lines all the time. Also ask Minerman146 anything too, he's been a big help for me and I'm sure he'd be a big help for you too.

Hey SD40Australia,

So Minerman146 and I are going to try something for my route concerning combining part of his route to mine. So, if you're up to it (and still working on this project) I can suggest me doing the same for your route concerning the Allentown end of things. I can (once I finish the scenery work) in essence send you the assets of my route to place on yours so you don't have to do all of the work that's already been done.

Just throwing this out as a suggestion if you're interested.
