Source/Developer folder for Route Missing

Unread postby BoostedFridge » Mon Mar 23, 2015 8:14 pm

I'm not exactly sure when this happened, but my 'Source Folder / Developer Folder' and contents for my Siskiyou Route appear to have vanished. I can still load and edit, and run my route just fine though. In the routeproperties.xml file, I can see it references "templateroutes\Siskiyou.xml" but I can't find any sign of that file, or containing folder. I set up my developer folder structure, and route template with RWTools when I started the route last year. If I go to build a new route in game, the template I set up for the Siskiyou route doesn't appear as an option.

I'm wondering if this could have been lost when I did a 'verify files' last?

Can I just go through the process in RW Tools of setting the Developer folder structure again, even though the route is already built? If so, is there anywhere I can check my syntax? I know the root folder was called 'BoostedFridge' , but I can't remember if I titled the product 'Siskiyou' , or 'SiskiyouLine', or '????'.

Any suggestions, or discussion of other ramifications would be appreciated.

I had the same thing happen a year or so ago, so I empathize completely (a verify wiped my source folders clean). I learned to keep a backup just in case someone at DTG or Steam misses a procedure with an update.
Cheers!

At least I'm not alone on this then, lol. Since I don't have any custom assets created, the only thing that comes to mind that will be a PITA to replicate will be the trackrule file. Anything else that I might be forgetting? As long as I get my syntax for the route and product correct in RW Tools, there should't be any issue getting my route to 'reference' the new folders right?
