Free Roam Switch Motor Boxes

Unread postby drivertime61 » Fri Mar 13, 2015 4:15 pm

For the first time I added some yard tracks to a free roam scenario. In the 2D view the points are properly shown and they also work properly in the scenario. In all the Drive views no clickable switch motors are showing, so you have to go to the 2D view each time to access different yard tracks.

Most of the rest of the route (NEC Phila. - NY) has clickable switch motor boxes showing in all views in most places in free roam.

I've searched through every doggone menu in the Route, Scenario and World Editors and can't find a way to add clickable switch motors to the turnouts in the Drive views. What am I missing, gentlemen?

Thanks,

Al

Sorry if I'm beating a dead horse, but here's a little more information re my search for the free roam manual switch motor boxes that I would like to add to some new sidings/spurs in my free roam NEC Freight Operations route.

I right clicked on several of the motors to see the properties. One of them finally opened. These motor boxes apparently are "RailNetwork~Junctions~AJM.xml" files (without the quotes). A search of the Railworks folder and all subfolders did not find the files.

Is it possible they are hidden in some file or folder that needs unpacking? If so, I'll have to learn how to do that.
