You're going to have to include a pronunciation guide in the users' manual, mate! Perhaps some suggested jaw exercises as well? Those place names are amazing!

Ran the free roam from Kalgoorlie to Golden Ridge today and everything went smoothly. I will keep my eyes out for updates. Incidentally, you might be interested in joining the VREA. One of our members is considering the Orin Sub also. You might want to get with him and pool your efforts. Keep up the good work.

I likewise ran from Kalgoorlie to Golden Ridge without problems. Be very interested to follow the development of this route! From the scenario:

However, I did have problems when I tried to run the 2 EB freights. In Eastbound Freight 2SP5 I couldn't access the BNSF engine. They were running but there was no driver icon to allow me to enter. In the other one it advised me of a broken consist and an Invalid Consist.

Select a floating object, then hit the "J" key and it will snap to ground.

More keyboard shortcuts in the builder's manual.

How many routes are you building at one time? 3?

Ran 94 miles (152 km) in 2 hours 38 minutes with no problems. Lots of construction going on in the Kalgoorlie area since the last version.

Daniel,

That is what showed up on the evaluation page when I exited the scenario.

Daniel,

Don't know if you are interested or not, but when I ran the last version I stopped in the middle of each loop, saved and then exited the game and recorded the mileage run on each sector. Following is the mileage I recorded for each section of the line measuring from the start of the free roam scenario in West Kalgoorlie.

Parkeston - 7.65 Miles (12.31 Km)
Golden Ridge - 18.9 Miles (30.4 Km)
Curtin - 41.3 Miles (66.6 Km)
Unnamed loop - 54.4 Miles (87.5 Km)
Karonie - 73.6 Miles (118.4 Km)
Chifley - 90.9 Miles (146.3 Km)
Coonana - 110.6 Miles (178.0 Km)

Hope this is a help to you.

Daniel,

I tried one of the standard scenarios yesterday. It was the 2PS6 train (incidentally, the only one that would load). Got an approach signal at the East end of Parkeston for some reason. Got as far as Curtin where I entered the loop to wait for the WB train. It was sitting at the signal East of Curtin looking at an Approach signal but never would move. I sat there (East end of Curtin for 23 minutes before exiting the game.

Daniel,

This was the signal when I reached the West end of Parkeston on the main line after leaving Kalgoorlie. Don't know why it would have been yellow as all the others after that were green until I got to Curtin. The switch at the East end of Curtin was lined for me to leave Curtin and not for the oncoming train to proceed West thru Curtin. Curtin did not have manual switches like Blamey did so I couldn't line the switch for the oncoming train.

Ran the Coonana free roam a while ago in 1:36 with mileage of 83.2 (133.9 km) to the end of track. A few track problems encountered. Three small spots at approximately 1 hour into the scenario where the track and roadbed are not visible. At about 1:10 there is a spot where the locomotive goes almost completely underground and three spots at about 1:23 to 1:28 where the terrain comes about half way up on the loco trucks. Other than that, no problems.
