I don´t think Angora is a place in PRB to loose our time. Better search for the places that have the standard scenarios provided by Tomcat.

I am running the standard scenarios and I wish someone could assist me/us as it is such a beautiful route. There are completely blank scenes/void of assists between Alliance and Butt Crossover where we had missng tracks. From Butt Crossover to Butt Crawford their are assist but not all and this is as far I went. !*snd-help*!

Sorry it's Free Roam 006. From Alliance going via Alliance 1000 West. As I leave Alliance the assests completey vanishes until just before Butte Crossover 408.4 Main. From here until Crawford I have assets. This is as far I went. I noticed I have missing assets where ever I had missing tracks before your Network folder was installed. I have all the 3D folders and TCS routes that are required but somehow it appears the RWA files for PRB are corrupted. All my Train Sim Community - Routes are 100%.

I have deleted my last post. Fortunately, things with PRB have changed, from my point of view.
I will post tomorrow or on Monday.

This past weekend, as a suggestion by AmericanSteam, we have been working for a couple hours to get a working Powder River Basin route file in my PC, free of issues. And we may have achieved it.

The facts are that he had a good working route, while mine was full of issues and missing scenery.
A month ago or so, I downloaded PRB from a link placed here in a couple posts in this thread (4 or 5 pages before this one). I downloaded both the route 7z and the assets 7z.
As the assets were lacking a lot of the required ones, I started to enable and even getting the missing ones, not knowing exactly which ones were included by Tomcat. But the inclusion of a lot of assets did not fix the problems in my route.
First, by observing the route 2D map, I realized that there was a lot of missing tracks in the southern part (which I reported here). The first we did was replacing the entire Network folder of the route. All tracks in the route revived.
But even so, the route missed lots of scenery in different points of it, lacked different terrains and showed problems related with buried tracks and assets.
So, at the suggestion of AmericanSteam we decided to work in my route this last weekend, replacing all of my route folders (route folder name is c623b397-6329-4b3d-8494-c955f2f9ebc9 ).

Given the big size of some of the folders, the transfer (downloading) had to be made slowly one by one. Most of the testing was done over the Free Roam scenario 006 Butte Subdivision.
I realized that my Terrain folder had a Textures subfolder with no textures at all. The restoring of these textures brought color to the different terrains in the route.
After that, exchanging the Scenery folder brought all sorts of objects, buildings (industrial, farms, etc.) and vegetation to my route. There was a difference of 30% less in size between my route and his.
Later, the Terrain folder was fully replaced and that fixed the raised terrain in some places of my route. Then it came replacing MixMap folder, though we are not sure if that solved something.

The day after, I decided to clean everything, by deleting unnecessary scenario folders (with names not used by Railworks), all DDS image files (to make textures), my own backup folders (in the route) and Tomcat´s backups.

The final result was a clean Route c623b397-6329-4b3d-8494-c955f2f9ebc9 7z file of size 2.1GB.

Now, this big file is available in my PC, but I do not have any place to upload it in a permanent way. My Dropbox is the free one (2GB) and nearly half of it has my own files and the remaining I need it for exchanging file and folders.

So, I ask if it would be possible that I uploaded it to some permanent download site (here in RWA, some other Dropbox or Mediafire). Understand that this is only the Route folder, with no assets at all. If it´s possible what I ask, I would write a readme to inform the community what to do to install and I would upload it myself.

Holy cow, 2.1 GB compressed?
That's a lot of space AND bandwidth.
I'll have a look at our numbers and talk to Buzz.

I already answered Buzz to a PM he sent me this afternoon. Talk to him about what I said.
And that´s only the route. Assets not included, but everyone should have all of them (or almost). !*hp*!

We'll make this work.
Please PM me a download link.
If you can't upload it whole, chop it up in smaller pieces.

I will write a text readme, edit routeproperties and prepare the file and try to use either Google Drive or MediaFire (no account so far) for the download.
Probably for tomorrow.

The MLW Audio enhanced ES44s go quite well on this route. What a difference.Changed out the coal hoppers with better looking ones from BNSF Chicago (Barnez).

The route folder is ready for uploading to RWA (soon).
When you have it, check the routeproperties.xml (either a xml editor or Wordpad) and you will be able to use what assets I have enabled in my installation.
