It's a long way to town from some of these ranches out here.

But not very far from the tracks.

Does anyone know where there might be some Black Angus or Hereford cattle out there? Holsteins aren't going to get at it for cattle in Montana.

Once again I wish I knew how to model. I wanted some beef for Donner as well.
A nice big bull hanging out with the dairy cows would be fun. Ring in nose etc. !*roll-laugh*!

I wasn't being "smart butt" I was being serious. Some of the fields near the tracks could use some beef cows... On a lot of routes...
Also, I haven't seen any beef on the hoof anywhere for this sim.

In CA you sometimes find angry bulls hanging out with the dairy cows. One bull chased me on my mountain bike years ago. He was grazing with some dairy cows on park land.

My ignorance is going to show here, but can you "repaint" the texture of the Holsteins?

There are a few animal assets around if you do a search, here are some Cows/Bulls from the French Railsimmers - the French word is Vaches - http://ajrailsim.free.fr/objets.htm

And, also some authentic sounds here as well.....http://www.railsim-fr.com/forum/index.p ... owfile=541

And our Railsim friends in New Zealand did these a couple of years ago. http://www.tsnz.co.nz/browse.php?latest ... 0%28x22%29

Don't forget the British creator Decapod, he also has some appropriate content available - http://uktrainsim.com/filelib-info.php? ... leid=20415
