"Together with the BNSF coal gondola repaints, now all stock (apart from the expensive Searchlight DLC) is complete."

Well, of the 4 Searchlight Enhancement Packs, only 1 remains as chargeable: EMD 16N-710G3C - SOUND ENHANCEMENT PACK @ US $9.99. I recommend it highly.

I'm getting the following error when trying to load the assets through Utilities. I'm running it as administrator, and the asset folder that the error message is based on is not read only. Has anyone else encountered this error?

Also, would it be possible to get the assets and route as a .rar or something other than a .rwp file? It takes forever for my Utilities to refresh (like 10+ min). Copy/pasting the assets and route would be far easier and faster. But I also understand if this file format works better for the masses. Thank you!

You can open the .rwp file with 7Zip and just draw the folders into your Railworks install.

To my knowledge, only the Marias Pass pack included an "ES44C4" and "ES44AC" variant in additional to the base ES44DC with the Searchlight Simulations GEVO-12 EP. Stevens Pass has only the base ES44DC with the enhancement, like the Montana Hi-Line.

I had tried this in the past, but was never successful. Then it dawned on me... open in 7Zip. I was changing the file extension to .zip and then tried to open... which didn't work. Opened in 7Zip with .rwp extension... and it works. Thank you!! Both problems solved! *!!thnx!!*

Clip of a scenario I'm working on. I'll put it on Mediafire and link it here when it's ready. It's more or less an excuse to use the JOINTEDRAIL - EMD SD40-2/SD40N - UNION PACIFIC [BUNDLE] and JOINTEDRAIL - 100 TON HOPPERS - NS/CR available from the Searchlight SImulations store.

You're very welcome, glad you like it.

Yes, a big thank you to all the developers in the community who have graciously allowed route builders such as myself to use their creations.

Attention All:

I've taken down the assets file for the Powder River Basin temporarily till a solution to a possible problem with some of the path names is rectified.

My apologies to all and hopefully there will be a fix soon.

Greetings.

I have completed the 18 Powder River Basin Freeroam Scenarios that were to be included in the last release of the PRB Route. From time to time in the future I may update these as necessary for scenery changes made by Tomcat. These will also be included in any future releases of the PRB Route.

EDIT: These are now included in Tomcat’s PRB Release or later in this subject thread.

Standard scenario, SS/JR - SD40-2's Vs. Logan Hill, available now for the Powder River Basin; https://www.mediafire.com/file/h2jcwivs ... l.rwp/file

(Also includes some track infrastructure)

Requires:

JOINTEDRAIL - EMD SD40-2/SD40N - UNION PACIFIC [BUNDLE]
Payware - https://www.store.searchlight-simulatio ... fic-bundle

JOINTEDRAIL - 100 TON HOPPERS - NS/CR
Freeware - https://www.store.searchlight-simulatio ... pers-cr-ns

Drive eight SD40-2's plus 120 coal loads from North Antelope over Logan Hill to Bill, Wyoming.

All eight engines must be configured as per the manual. I've allotted 90 seconds at the start of the scenario, before any messages appear, for engine setup.

A generic version of this scenario is coming soon using default SD40-2's and default coal hopper repaints (linked previously). This will be much less realistic therefore much easier to run.

You're very welcome.

I plan on making scenarios on a regular basis and I'll be using the Searchlight Simulations/JR locos for most if not all of them. Trying to duplicate SS/JR scenarios using default stock means having to rethink the scenario from scratch and I'm not sure it's worth the effort. As an example, I've been trying to use default stock to replicate the scenario I just posted and it's turning out to be something completely different. Eight SS/JR SD40-2's with 120 coal loads makes 13.8 mph on Logan Hill at the slowest point - compare that to three default SD40-2's with 120 default hoppers accelerating up Logan Hill and reaching almost track speed of 50 mph - seems a bit off to me and kind of defeats the purpose of the scenario in the first place - makes Logan Hill seem like a walk in the park.

If I make scenarios using default stock it's better if I concentrate on default only and not try to compare it to SS/JR. Don't get me wrong about default stock, BoostedFridge has made some great scenarios using default stock and gtrtroger has contributed excellent free roams that use default items, they definitely can be fun and challenging.

I can concur the drag speed of ~14mph. Makes me remember all the videos of first gen SD9s and their low drags in Run8 but still reliable enough to do it for 60+ years now. Glad to see their spiritual successor getting to stretch their legs. I admit, I kept forgetting about how long it takes the air to release once applied !DUH! so I was having fun with that. Can't wait to see what more brilliance you bring to this Tomcat, whether that be route additions or new scenarios.
