Putting this out there: I had the previous PRBRoute.rwp (my downloads dates it as 8/30/20, and I still have the route updates for Feb '20 and Nov '19) file already installed, and when I tried to install the new one over it, it gave me the whole "this file is already installed". I would assume the next course of action is to unpack the file and drop it into the content folder and overwrite when asked?

OK I give, I don't have this mysterious BNSF 1-4 hopper either and can't seem to locate where they came from.

yes overwrite the existing files. This way it install the new tiles with the scenery and what not that was added. Also, overwrite/update the assets too

To anyone missing the hoppers - gtrtroger posted a link to the hoppers on the previous page. I also have them on mediafire for those who need them: https://www.mediafire.com/file/1j036bmy ... s.rwp/file

I'm working on another standard scenario and when that is ready I'll add the hoppers to the rwp for that - and now I know to add the hoppers to the next release of the route!

PS: Where those hoppers came from is beyond my ability to recall, so if anyone knows who did them I'd like to give them credit in the PRBInfo.pdf file.

When I installed with the utilities.exe it listed the author as "RBL". I am only inferring with this information, but I believe the author is gtrtroger. But that is me making an assumption based on the limited information I have. I have no way to confirm this. If I am wrong, I am wrong.

I believe the RBL comes from whoever packaged the file using the utilities executable - most likely your assumption that the RBL is Roger is right but I don't think the repaints were done by him. If you were to install from the link I posted you would find the author to be Tomcat since I packed them up as well. Those repaints of the default Kuju hoppers have been around for awhile and I thought I had an idea of who did them but I've just spent the past several hours looking through all my train related backups with no luck yet. In any case, thanks for posting and giving me something to think about - I'm sure that at some point I'll stumble across them.

Yes, RBL is me. I probably packaged them in something else a long time ago. You are probably right. I don’t know where these repaints came from either - my installed file dates are from 2013......so, who knows? Given they have been around “forever” and were included in some earlier scenarios I figured everyone had these....who knew? For sure I didn’t do the repaints - I couldn’t if I wanted too - can’t carry paint in a bucket.

There is a locomotive I do not have in my install and which I cannot find in the file library: GNTX\StevensPass\RailVehicles\Diesel\ES44DC\BNSF ES44C4\Engine\MP_ES44DC_BNSF_nd.bin

Which I assume is a hybrid make by combining shape and physics files from different sources?

No, alas. That particular engine was not in the pack you mentioned.

I've found a ES44C4 physics enhancement in the RWA library, but since that particular locomotive rests in its own folder, all kinds of files need to be copied and edited to get the complete locomotive as intended.

Come on, make a copy of MP_ES44DC_BNSF.bin, serz it, remove the driver section in the <Children> section, adopt the name (near the top of the file) and serz again.
That's all.

Thanks, that's the correct locomotive. I'll try to add the ES44C4 physics enhancements to it later.

Together with the BNSF coal gondola repaints, now all stock (apart from the expensive Searchlight DLC) is complete.
