Releasing a Clone is probably the wisest as if/when Steam/DTG release an update the "Beta" version will be overwritten. I backed up my RSC version, deleted it , loaded the Beta cloned it then deleted the original Beta and re-loaded my RSC version. I have both now and the Beta will only be overwritten intentionally by me.

Almost 100 bucks in total.

Nah, not going to do that.

But wish the people who can run this a lot of fun !

You haven't wasted the $20 it is still a great route with many scenarios in the Steam Workshop for it.

I wholeheartedly support this project but I question using the same route designation and number. Why are you not using a new route number and calling it Marias Pass Rework? Are you sure that DTG is not going to complain? I might be wrong but it seems like you (even though the original is required) that you are taking the original route away.

I echo Buzz's comments. In the DTG spiel it does state that (in not these words) you are not allowed to change the original, copy or re-issue etc. Cloning allows the original to remain "untouched" and automatically issues a new hexdecimal code that the Steam/DTG updates ignore because they are not looking for it.

Hello, all
Apologies for the folder missunderstanding. With this update there should no longer be any issue with the folders.
Here is the link for the small update:

Note: check the Instalation guide inside the zip file

The previous post's link has been updated.

Enjoy!

Great! The only thing I have done is re-named this version Marias Pass beta in the .xml so I can easily differentiate them.

Hello,

One more thing: When instaling the route put this folder named "Vegetation" in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\RSC\MariasPass\Scenery.
And overwrite, this fixes the incorect trees that were used in the original version.

Cheers,

I want to start out by saying IMO Marias Pass was one of the greatest routes ever done for TS. I have by no means had the time to run this whole update yet but you all have done a masterful job on this. Great job! Pics to follow later. !!*ok*!! !!*ok*!! !*salute*! **!!bow!!**
!*YAAA*!

I would call this only as a preview. Some sections are still not done.

As a tip: You can copy the scenery from the new route to the original. This will not impact any existing scenario.
As IndoBell has modified the tracks, there is no guarantee that included scenarios will run.

Another thing: Backdating kit and Girder Bridge Set are required too.
It seems RW tools didn't see this folder.
Also drag both folders inside the zip to Assets folder.

Gentlemen, I am impressed. Particularly pleased that grades are now in % not %,%. Have run from Summit to Conkelly only so far using adapted scenarios "BN Local part 1" and "BN Local part 2".

Have found 2 things for attention (have corrected on my version but..) They are both in proximity to each other - at co-ordinates 48.44293, -114.04626 pieces of track have disappeared as shown in attached picture and at co-ordinates 48.43220, -114.05657 Grade Crossing, barriers down auto drivers still commit suicide - the road traffic arrows are not inplace as in the second picture.

Are they still present in corrected version?
Did you read the instalation guide, your ground textures, and roads are not as they should be

John...I installed the latest update and this is as my copy looks like. Also if the author is replacing all the track with wood then there is still a lot of concrete ties to replace.

Note: I'm not replacing all track to wood.
That's how its supposed to be.
Thanks for screenshots.
