In anticipation of the next phase of the route being released I have removed all the links to the previous release on page 33. Expect the next iteration of the PRB within the next 2 weeks to a month.
Download the PRB from page 51 of the Powder River Basin thread.

Hello Everyone, does anyone have an answer to the supposed AC44CW found under the route's free roam tab? Or point me in the direction of the answer? Because I'm pretty sure Searchlight hasn't finished their BNSF AC44 just yet.

If you look carefully it reads BNSF ES44DC not AC44.

I think you're looking below it at the second one. I was asking about the one that's selected. I already played the GEVO one, and it's the GE from the ES44&SD40-2 pack.

“Reno” is an old route testing scenario made by Tomcat that was included in a WIP release. It uses Searchlight Simulations’ fantastic CP GE AC4400CW. I can’t figure out why you think it’s a BNSF unit - I’ve looked into every part of that scenario and could not find that reference.

Same goes for “West or East from Newcastle”.

Alright, that answers my question. I haven't bought the AC44 yet, and was very confused. I feel like a fool now.

Release of the next phase will be towards the end of the month.

An unfinished system map to give you an idea of where things are in relation to each other. State lines were 'eyeballed' by me so may be a bit off. Numbers are for the mines located along the Orin subdivision.

gtrtroger has been kind enough to work on a bunch of free roams for this release and the following shots show 1) part of Alliance yard looking South. 2) U.P. South Morrill yard looking East and 3) Progress Rail yard looking East

I was able to get anywhere from 50 to 110 fps amongst all this rolling stock depending on where I was in the yards and in which direction the camera was pointing.

As a reminder, this release is almost all about track, so new scenery will be small pockets here and there.

Will the next release be the only part we will need or do we need to download something else as well?

Yep, Roger filled up those yards beyond what I thought would run well but to my surprise it was pretty smooth.

If you downloaded the previous release then you should download the PRBAssets.rwp file and PRBRoute.rwp file again (I will post mediafire links when I release). I did add a few things so even if you have downloaded the assets before you should download the new one. You can just install those two .rwp files right over the existing installation - just keep hitting continue if it says something is already installed. Of course, make sure you have the dependencies listed below.

It will be a full release of the route due to all the terrain that was added or modified, which accounts for the majority of the size of the route. The following is copied from page 33 when I had the last release;

Note: Tehachapi Pass is the most important dependency by far.

Dependencies are;

Payware:

3DTrains Tehachapi Pass (Majority of the route is from this dependency)
Soldier Summit
Sherman Hill
Steven's Pass

Freeware:

RCAP from Railworks America (in the file library here)

Pipeline lofts and Coal Mine Conveyor from Golden Age of Railroading. http://golden-age-rails.com/rwscenry.html

Eléments de raffinerie from http://ajrailsim.free.fr/ Under the Objets tab you'll find refinery assets under 'Eléments de raffinerie' for download. It's a 3.3 MB file - easy install.

There will be one additional download you will need which is The Grass Asset Pack from Vulcan Productions which can be found on this page;

https://www.vulcanproductions.co.uk/rb.html

I'll repeat all of the above when I release the next phase towards the end of the month.
