Tim,
I'll be lurking in the shadows, so if you ever want or need help with more track laying, I'm your man. I love doing track and roads, decorating; not so much.
Although your decorating skills are awesome, I find your liberal use of terrain painting simply astounding. That one item alone creates such realism on the route.
As I march along on the MRL, I'm going to terrain paint alot more. Your horseshoe pics are astounding. I want, I want, I want!

As a final note; whenever you finish this route, if your interested in jumping into decorating a section on the MRL, that would be most excellent.

Thanks for the kind words Walter!

If I run into any more strange track related happenings you'll be the first person I'll look to... to save me from myself!

I'll keep the offer to help with the MRL in mind, eagerly awaiting the first phase to be released.

Here are the barest beginnings of Crawford, NE. Helper sets awaiting the next shove up Crawford Hill.

The Tomcat is spreading his territory ;-)

And every new segment added looks at least as good as the one before due to the excellent choice and use of those assets that make a scene look lifelike. Ground texture, bushes, shrubs, trees, it all looks so natural and quite pretty too.

With four green textures and one brown, you've created a completely natural look for the ground in this area. The texture colours blend so well together. Top notch work, as always!

Thank you Edwin and Colin!

You pretty much nailed it Colin... Dry Grass, Dry Grass 02, Dark Grass. Forest Floor 1 and Forest Floor 2. I underpaint deciduous trees with the darker forest floor (forgot at the moment if it's 1 or 2) and the other forest floor (A bit brighter and a bit more yellow) under pine trees. Dark Grass or Dry Grass 02 for the open areas and then I set the brush size to 50 or 60 and reduce the strength from 1.00 to 0.05 and sweep along the borders between colors with Dry Grass which is very light. Sweep fast back and forth multiple times and the color will gradually build up helping to blend everything together.

And now the most tedious thing I've ever done. I hate cows, but I love hamburgers! I actually simplified the layout or I'd be here for another week.

Still, that cow park at Crawford turned out pretty good! Nice job! Besides, you’re supposed to be driving the train - not sightseeing....LOL!

Okay, okay... sheesh, what a taskmaster. I've moved on from bovine infrastructure to other matters.

Joder, Nebraska in the general neighborhood of Toadstool Geologic Park.

Good morning.

It’s beautiful, I haven’t made a route for a year now, in fact since I am 100% on TSW and you make me want to get back to it seriously.

Thank you so much for that fabulous work, mister .

Thank you zawal!

Your routes for TS20XX are top-notch, so I hope you are planning to work your magic in TSW once an editor becomes available. For myself, since this route will take several more years to complete, it may be my last route in TS20XX.

Hi Tomcat !

If the editor of TSW is not too complicated to take in hand, I will make a US itinerary in 1st Promise.

I love the American Locomotives much more than the French trains from my home, yours are much more impressive and beautiful, I love everything that touches the USA.

I am probably an American at heart !*salute*!
