Thurmont and Branford: Third time's the charm (maybe)

Discussion about RailWorks route design.

And indeed it is.

If anyone has issues associated with the route, please do tell. It's undergone a few iterations and a track relaying so if something is strange or doesn't work, please share.
This is definitely not the end, as more repaints and hopefully some scenarios will be coming down the pipe.

I hope you all enjoy the second coming of the Thurmont and Branford! !!*ok*!!

Here is a pack of route markers for Jack's route. Just paste this un-zipped in the Assets folder.

Congratulations Jack, well worth the effort you have put in.
A route with many traffic possibilities and hours of entertainment. I can't promise to only use the S2, much as I love it, RS1/3s and GP7s are likely on the Branford section as well although not the Thurford City branch obviously.
Once again well done and thank you.

No, thank you! I was honestly considering making this route update strictly for myself but then figured you'd all like a taste of it too.

No worries about only running the S2 or 44-tonner- shortlines up here have a tendency to rent out locomotives from other railroads.

I'm also currently trying out my first repaint! Attempting to put an RS1 in a yellow-ish scheme similar to the Lamoille Valley, which will hopefully make running the route more colorful with red, yellow, and green locos.

It's unfinished, rough around the edges, and has a weird light texture missing, but it's a start, and I'm hoping it'll look good when it's finished.

I was a fan of the 2016 version although I did alter the passing sidings (just South of the Paper mill and at the interchange) so that I could "pass". I see that you have so altered! It is a really good concept and there is certainly room for "imaginary" as well as "real" routes.

Those are some absolutely beautiful shots.

I need to know: are you using a shader of sorts? I think I need it.
Speaking of shots, I've been toying with scenario creation right now. Trying my hand at something simple first: dragging some bridge traffic from one end to the other.

Business has been really good on the Thurmont and Branford and due to customers either don't have space to add to siding length or don't want to spend the money the railroad has to make more moves to keep everyone serviced. The call went out to Sterling Rail for another locomotive and they had a nice SW1200 which just happened to be in red paint. What a surprise it was when it showed up all lettered thanks to the crew at Sterling. Here she sits just as CSX delivered it.

That’s actually gorgeous oh my god.

Buzz you are a master of your craft! I’ve been adding bits and pieces to the T&B lore and I think this’ll be a welcome addition. Makes me wish I had made more engine storage tracks! *!!thnx!!*

May I ask what the model is? I wanna make sure I can get my hands on it ASAP.
