Ohh, sad news. My hopes were for this year release, and I really looked forward... *!sad!*
I respect Your decision, after many hours on same job it becomes boring. I hope You find it amusing again and finish the route sometime in the future..

It's been a long time ago that I've been working on marias pass but after the announcement of the RSC to bring out their own marias pass, it's now the highest priority for me to immediately begin work on it and to release it before RSC. This does not make me really happy, precisely because I was busy and annoyed to fix every new update from them and this for almost two years. I don't know if they read through post's in forums like RWA but this announcement is just like a punch in my face. I'll wont give up and get my hands back on it but this time without excuses.

I highly doubt that they are making this route to insult you! Just think of it as a competition, blow them out of the water. Plus Marias Pass is an extremely popular route, having two versions wouldn't be a bad thing. IMO !!*ok*!!

I hope everyone reads this. I will not comment on my opinion on this whole subject at this time however I want everyone here to read this and make sure you understand it.

I wonder what RSC will do with this, use default UP locomotives, because that's what they usually do and I'd give it 0 stars (if I could) when they use UP stock on non-UP routes. In RSC's case they never make a route require other dlc's. Meh, oh well, hope everyone's turns out good. *!!wink!!*

When did they do that? They only had UP on Cajon Pass at first because they only had a license from them. They eventually got a license from BNSF and made the BNSF Pack. Later they got Norfolk Southern on-board and made the C44-9w/C40-9w with BNSF and NS. I'm sure they are going to have BNSF stuff for marias pass. That would be a MAJOR hiccup not to!

yea, when they released DP they gave it all SP stuff (even though sp is owned by up now), so i cant see why they wont release the route with appropriat stock....btw isnt the current RSC BNSF pack free to download? (BNSF SD40-2, SD40-2snoot, ES44AC)

You carry on Sir, 2 years is a long time to just give up because RSC are planning on creating the same area, there's nothing wrong with having more than one version of the same route in the game, your layout will be exceptional because it's free, keep going, we're all supporting you. !*salute*!

Actually I'll sell it for 15$ but the assets will be free for distribution. This is the most important thing, that my marias pass will be available without to have any rsc assets except either some locos from rw to rw3 or the new es44. Anyway thank you very much mate! Really appreciate your kind words *!!thnx!!*

I'll gladly pay for your route. It will be a keeper. Thanks for the efforts to finish. More progress pics please.
