I am having way too much fun with the CVP. Can't wait to see what you do next with it.

The CVP continues to be a work in progress. I have lately made some improvements to the terrain texturing and vegetation. I thought I'd pass along the update for those who are interested.

Here's the link to Patch C:

Installation instructions are in section 3 here:

Let me know if I have missed anything.

Sounds great.

Hey, have you ever considered doing a New York Central based route in the late 1930's?

Now that the BLE is now available on Railworks America as freeware those cars and buildings in it would definitely help as well, as well as the Hudsons built by DSGDDR.

That was a strangely specific question.

Hey Wayne, So will Tim Muir allow you to release his rebuilt locomotive for this route? I'd love to see that 2-8-2 in game.

So I've I noticed that the CVP RS-1 that comes included with this route has brake controls that act differently. The manual calls this behavior "spring action brake control." Is there any way I could disable this feature and have the brakes work as usual?

They're probably set up to represent a 6BL or 24RL stand, which are non-self lapping.

That's not the issue. The issue is that the brake levers like to snap to different settings. They don't rotate like they usually do.

Based on the route manual this is intentional, I just want to see if I personally can edit anything to make it act like how G-Trax built it.

The route looks stunning! Just a quick question though, I've got a lot of missing texture files on things that shouldn't be missing anything? All of the RS1 models have the missing texture box where windows should be, and the sky is a huge Missing Texture box. Anybody else have this issue? If so, how do i fix it?

Be sure to install the updates mentioned in the instruction manual. Report back if that doesn't fix it.

I'm seem to be having a problem with the track for this route. I was thinking on using it for one of my own projects. When I started testing it I found that some textures are missing from the track. I'm being told on Discord that it's some kind of bug. Is there a fix for it? On a side note...what is the rail head track for?

It’s a railworks alpha sorting bug, but it’s not a real problem. Just keep laying track and eventually all appears right after a few save and exits.

Rail head track represents fully buried ties.

My problems fixed, thank you! Its such a beautiful route, will be looking forward to seeing more. On a side note, how'd you get your overhead wires to show up? I can't for the life of me get overhead wires to show up above track even with the drop-down selected. I loved the idea of the industrial area sorted and switched using electric locos, perfect for the centercab.
